My career began with building static html files and loading them onto hardware in a university server closet. Next, I was writing PHP files on a shared piece of hardware in a data center. As routine as these once seemed, these setups now feel so limited to me in retrospect. My recent career has forced me to build more and more complex systems, with little to no traditional system administration infrastructure. In this environment, I've had the chance to try out some of the more recently developed architectures. I will use this blog to share some of my personal experiences of not only modern system architecting, but project management and probably a bit of this and that.
